This list is heavily based on the month I spent in the city as a poor student studying abroad in the summer of 2014. Lisbon has changed in the more than five years since then, so I wouldn’t call this the most up to date or complete travel guide. Call it an incomplete work in constant progress instead.
After bouncing around the country this month, I’m settling down to a long stretch of staying close to home until October. Naturally, this means that I miss traveling already.
It’s been a while since I’ve done one of these Glossier fangirl sort of posts, so I figured I’d update you on my favorites and share my experience at the Seattle pop-up.

Last month, my West Coast quidditch, beer, and friendship journey took me to my beloved Pacific Northwest. My friend Siri Rigsby took me on a tour of Bellingham, which included a visit to Wander Brewing.
As much as I love quidditch, it’s becoming more of an excuse just to travel and see my friends. I headed to El Segundo Brewing to meet up with Shaye Lander, one of the original #BarcelosBros and an even bigger beer nerd than I am.
I’m breaking down a flight of ciders that I split with my friend, occasional reader, and fellow SJSU Quidditch alum, Gil Ortiz. I spent an afternoon hanging out with him and my favorite East Bay quidditch baes, the California Dobbys.
Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy, but if you don’t believe in God, then let me call if proof that my boyfriend loves me and wants me to be happy.
