This list is heavily based on the month I spent in the city as a poor student studying abroad in the summer of 2014. As much as I love quidditch, it’s becoming more of an excuse just to travel and see my friends. I headed to El Segundo Brewing to meet up with Shaye Lander, one of the original #BarcelosBros and an even bigger beer nerd than I am.
I’m breaking down a flight of ciders that I split with my friend, occasional reader, and fellow SJSU Quidditch alum, Gil Ortiz. I spent an afternoon hanging out with him and my favorite East Bay quidditch baes, the California Dobbys.
It’s February 28th, March is staring me in the face, so it’s time to get in my February review/January update for the things I’ve been putting on my face. And hair. And body. Whatever, let’s do this.
